Dr. Jaaron Peterson
Dr. Peterson grew up in nearby Maple Valley and has lived in Washington State for most of his life. He earned a Bachelors in Biology before receiving his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. He is married to his beautiful wife, Elise and they have three children; Dainen, Caleb and London. They have a named Zeus and an English Springer Spaniel named Jack. Dr. Peterson enjoys watching and playing sports of all kinds, and like most people from Seattle is a huge Seahawks fan. Go Hawks!!!! He enjoys all aspects of practice medicine but especially internal medicine, reproductive medicine, soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Peterson along with the rest of the staff at SRVH is dedicated to providing the best of care for all of our clients and their loved ones.
Dr. Mollie Zaback
Dr. Mollie Zaback is a New Orleans native, who completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Orleans before going on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2014. She then started her veterinary career as an exotic animal veterinarian, completing an internship at The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine in Bothell, WA. By the end of her internship, Dr. Zaback had fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest and decided to continue practicing in the greater Seattle area. She has since then discovered a passion for small animal medicine with a particular interest in internal medicine. Dr. Zaback also aspires to become certified in veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine over the next few years. During her spare time, she enjoys exploring the amazing opportunities the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She currently shares her home with her beloved cat, Yoda, and a bearded dragon named Mama.
Dr. Ocean Skyrud
Dr. Ocean Skyrud grew up with a love of all animals on a small family farm in Bitterroot Valley, MT. He attended the University of Montana for his undergraduate studies and then earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. He joined SRVH in March 2017 and is greatly enjoying the positive, supporting team that puts animal health and client experience first. He and his wife, also a veterinarian, have an awesome black lab named Duke and three chickens. They spend their free time enjoying the outdoors, including skiing, fishing, or just being out in the sun.
Dr. Mary Kent
Dr. Mary Kent grew up in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona before moving to Washington where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Washington State University. She continued her studies at WSU where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is married to her husband, James, and has a spunky terrier rescue named Amber. Dr. Kent is passionate about preventative healthcare and is delighted to play a role in supporting a happy, healthy, long life for your furry family member.
Dr. Robert Nadell
Dr. Nadell grew up in Eugene, Oregon and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 30 plus years. He was the original founder of Snoqualmie Ridge Veterinary Hospital back in 2004. He is married and has one son. He enjoys rooting for the Seahawks and can be found riding his motorcycle on the nice sunny days that we have here in Seattle on his days off.
Allison (she goes by Alli) grew up in North Bend, Wa and graduated in 2011 from Mount Si Hight School. She is the second youngest of 5 girls that grew up with all kinds of pets from horses to rabbits to turtles and of course always at least two cats and two dogs. It’s easy to say she has a passion for animals. She became a part of our team in August 2012 and is planning on becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Patti’s friendly face has been greeting our clients since November 2015. She is always happy to answer questions, check clients in, or comfort your pet while waiting in the lobby. When she is not taking care of the front desk, Patti enjoys tending to her garden at her home in Carnation, which she shares with her lab mix Lucky and feline Mouser.
Kendal was born and raised in Snoqualmie Valley and went to Mount Si High school. She has had a passion for animals since before she could even walk and started working on horse farms when she was 11 years old. Kendal has worked at Petco and plans to further her education by getting her Veterinary Technician License. She currently has a dog, a cat and a bearded dragon. She plans to to operate her own horse farm some day in the near future.
Crystal is originally a California native but has found her way up to the PNW to indulge in its unlimited timeless beauty. She’s been in the veterinary field for 7 years on and off, always finding her way back to her biggest passion. Helping others and their fury loved ones! When not working, she explores…a lot! Some of her passions include playing guitar, hiking, rock climbing, and gaming. She enjoys riding a Kawasaki Ninja 650r when weather allows. Just recently married, she and her husband tend to their very loving fur babies Nala (a mixed pup) and Kieoke (a rambunctious pixie bob).
Kristina came to SRVH as an extern while she attended PIMA’s Veterinary Assistant program. We liked her so much that she joined the clinic full time in November 2016. A North Bend native, Kristina and her husband are raising their son (soon to be two sons) in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley. She enjoys working with all our animal patients and loves dogs so much that she has three of her own.
Heather became an assistant at SRVH in September 2016. She can now say she lives and works on Snoqualmie Ridge. After working in scientific research and digital design, she now enjoys helping our awesome animal patients and meeting all the wonderful dog/cat parents who visit our clinic. At home, Heather is likely enjoying her crafts like crocheting and beading. Or spending time with her husband, three sons, two Burmese cats, and one Mini Aussie pup.
Christa started at SRVH in February 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from U.W. and brings previous experience in “people medicine” as a lab tech, phlebotomist, and worked in the Swedish OR. But finally decided to join her love of animals and medicine by becoming a vet assistant. After years of living in busy Seattle, Christa is enjoying the smaller town feel of North Bend and the valley. On her days off, you will usually find her gardening or doing random DIY projects around her home. Which she shares with her boyfriend, three spoiled dogs, and two demanding guinea pigs.
Katelin joined the SRVH team in March 2017 and we are very happy to have her. She came to us with vet assisting experience from another local clinic. She is enjoying working with our caring and experienced doctors. Outside the clinic you will often find Katelin relaxing and reading or enjoying a hike with her sweet Staffy Terrier, Scarlett.
Destiny started at SVRH in June 2017. Her love for exotic animals, especially reptiles and big cats, is what sparked her interest in veterinary medicine. But her love extends to cats and dogs as well. Her best buddy is her dog Rookie, plus she also has four cats, Mel, Miley, Malibu, and Maui. When not working at the clinic she keeps herself busy by working even more as a server, but does like to catch a Mariner’s game during the season.
